One reason for visiting Art Garden at Singapore Art Museum again and again is that Pei Pei and Hao Hao like drawing and craft activities a lot! Another reason is that, unlike the conventional museums, I love the fact that the Pei Pei and Hao Hao can touch some of the exhibits, so I don't need to keep shouting at them "Don't touch!"
Outside the building we saw LANDscape in the Box. Pei Pei and Hao Hao were busy exploring what are inside the boxes.
Anyway... the interesting part about this exhibition is that the fairytales are given an Asian twist! Can you tell what are the Asian twists?
Isn't the entrance to Around the Day in Eighty Worlds look interesting?
Pei Pei and Hao Hao were playing with the wheel of fortune! They span so fast that I could see the wheel!
Since Pei Pei and Hao Hao have limited screen time at home, another highlight of the trip was to watch the film screenings!
There was an exhibition Glossy Dreams in Depths which made Pei Pei and Hao Hao scared. Though the intention was to encourage visitors to overcome their fears, I think it is too high level for younger kids like Pei Pei and Hao Hao to appreciate. So we quickly walked through the room, and their mood was brightened up again when they engaged themselves in the mask making activity.
