At 7 a.m. on the first day of March school holiday, Pei Pei was busy working on her new craft idea. That is how much she loves art and craft activities! I didn't need to think too hard on where we should go for our girls' date - Singapore Art Museum at 8Q! There is an exhibition "Imaginarium: A Voyage of Big Ideas" from now until 19 July 2015, I was sure Pei Pei would love the interactive and hands-on activities.
True enough, we spent more than 3 hours there!
I was excited to see this at the entrance, but Pei Pei was not too keen to sit on it as it was quite hot. Nevertheless, she offered to pushed me on the swing.
Along the staircase was Imagin-a-doodle.
In moonroom, we learnt to make origami star, moon, and rocket. No clue on how to make these origami? There are instructions on the table and friendly staff to guide us!
Here was where we spent most of our time during our visit - Let's Make! Studio. We had a great mother-daughter bonding through weaving, embroidery and making pom-pom.
After sitting down for a long time, it was time to exercise! At Greenroom II: Interstellar Overdrive, Pei Pei was thrilled to see the words appearing on the screen as she cycled.
What if all these were real sweets! The children would be overjoyed! Though the sweets were not edible, Pei Pei had a great time decorating the plants with the sweets at Dream House.
Pei Pei was really observant in matching. It took me very long to find one suitable piece to mount on the installation!
As I was overwhelmed by the beauty of this installation, Pei Pei handed me this from the shelf - a kaleidoscope. Oh, that was how thing worked!
If you are from the same era as me, you would be able to identify the fun of playing Tetris. And there was real-life version of Tetris for the children to build their estate!
It was indeed a fun-filled girls' outing! Oh, it is free for Singapore citizens and permanent residents!
