Gudetama Cafe Singapore Review

A few months ago, we walked past Gudetama Cafe Singapore together with the children's grandparents. The grandparents took a look at the menu, and said "Let's go." They knew that I would settle the bill as usual, and I knew that my dear parents were trying to save my wallet from having a big hole. Well, as a big fan of Sanrio characters, I secretly told myself that I would be back another day. And so, together with my children and my friend, we visited Gudetama Cafe Singapore recently.

We quickly ordered our food before we took photos of Gudetama which was found everywhere inside the cafe!

Those eggs on the table were not decorations. They were hard boiled eggs! It was quite challenging to peel the egg shell, as it was not easily separated from the egg white.

My friend ordered Eggcited Cajun Chicken with Waffle (SGD23.90++). The chicken was tender, and the waffle was crispy.

The pun Rib-"I" Don't Care (SGD28.50++) is cute, it is rib-eye steak! I took some effort to cut the steak with the knife, but to my surprise, it was quite tender when I chewed it. Perhaps my teeth were sharp enough. The mashed potato was very dry on its own, but it turned out much more delicious when I added the mushroom sauce. I wished I could ask for more mushroom sauce, as my children fought with me for the sauce!

The children chose Le Slider Set (SGD12.90++) from the kid's menu. Gudetama seemed to be disfigured though....

The kid's meal comes with a cup of soft serve ice-cream with Gudetama cookie.

The desserts looked cute! But we were too full and didn't manage to try the dessert.

Overall, the food is quite nice, though the price is a tad too high.
