Polaroid from Handphone - Printic

[Sponsored Review]

I like Polaroid photos, and there was once I thought of getting a Polaroid camera. As you know, I like to take photos of my two fast-moving children, so if I were to use the Polaroid camera to take one non-blurry photo of them, probably I have to take more than 3968 shots, which would cost me a fortune!

Another idea is to make Polaroid photos using photo editing software or app, and then print them out, but after a long day of work + housework + playing Lego / soft toys + telling 967 stories + anything-that-can-happen-in-a-household-with-two-monsters, I could get the photos done only 10 years later.

When Printic invited us to try their app, I was glad to give it a shot! Printic is an IT company based in Paris, it developed an app that offers an easy way to order HD Polaroid-style prints from smartphone (iOS and Android), Instagram and Facebook.

Simply download the app (it is free!), select and edit the pictures (you can add captions), choose the recipients (yes, you can send photos to your family and friends!), and wait for the photos to reach the letter box!

As of December 2013, the price is USD2.19 for the first print, then USD0.49 each for subsequent print. The shipping cost? It is free! For recipients in Singapore, the photos are sent from Hong Kong, and it would take about a week to arrive.

The photo is printed on Fujifilm glossy photo paper, which is about 8.3 cm by 10.2 cm. The image is 7.5 cm by 7.5 cm.
