Masak Masak: My Childhood + PLAY @ National Museum of Singapore

Do you find this familiar? That famous dragon playground is turned into a bouncy castle!

This is the outdoor fun of the Children's Season at the National Museum of Singapore, titled Masak Masak: My Childhood.

One of my favourite childhood games was five stones. But this is the first time that I see five stones that are as big as our heads!

The bouncy castle opens only on Saturdays and Sundays (11 am - 1 pm, 3 pm -5 pm). "Is the castle open yet? We want to play!" the children kept asking. We reached there at 10 am, but the bouncy castle only opened at 11 am. Finally, their wish came true.

If you are bringing your children there on a sunny day, remember to bring hats, caps, sunblock lotion! It was very hot that day, how I wished the bouncy castle can be shifted under the shade!

We had another round of fun at Level 3 - PLAY@NMS.

I wondered why they loved to add so many eggs in their dishes.

How cool it is! To lie in the tent and watch movie! How I wished I could join the children, but I would take up too much space.

This was quite interesting, using dynamo torch to create your own drawing!

The children enjoyed themselves so much and I am looking forward to bring them to other museums during Children's Season 2014!

  1. Beautiful pictures. It always is challenging to find new activities for kids to be occupied with, especially during their holidays.
Your kids are really cute. Looks like they had a great time :)
