[Media Invite]
Recently we were invited to Alive Museum, a 3D visual illusion museum located at Suntec City Mall.
Bringing young children along? Here are our survival tips!
1. Visit during non-peak hours.
You may consider visiting the place on weekdays during day time, or weekend mornings, so as to avoid the crowd. We reached there at 10 a.m. on Sunday morning, it was not crowded.
2. Mummies and little girls, please do not wear skirt.
Because there is a room with mirrors all around, and you have to lie on the floor at times.
3. Be sporting and creative.
3. Be sporting and creative.
Do not be shy in posing. No need to follow the suggested poses, just be creative! Instead of telling the children to pose this way or that way, let them decide their own poses.
4. Be considerate.
It is impossible to stop the children from running and climbing. But when they obstruct other visitors, remind them to make way for others.
5. Some children may be afraid of some images, assure them that those are not real.
Ok, not trying to be a spoiler, there is an exhibit called Powder Room that is located near the exit. Fortunately we sent DaDi to check it out first, he was shocked by it.
That was how Marilyn Monroe's shot was taken |

6. If the children refuse to be in the photo, don't force them.
It is supposed to be a fun family outing, why turn it into a disappointment?
Our children like some exhibits, especially the one with trampoline, but they don't like some which they called "the scary ones".
I think it is quite a refreshing idea to visit Alive Museum as family outing, especially for families with children who know how to pose, and I feel that the experience would be more wonderful if the lighting is improved.
