"Mummy, can we go and play?" the children asked.
"Yes." I said. Then DaDi and I could sit back and relax for a while, before I jumped out of the chair to snap photos of the children playing.
I love dining places with play area. The children would usually eat peacefully (and quickly!) so that they get to play after the meal.
One of such dining places is Food for Thought @ Singapore Botanic Gardens.
It was not too crowded when we were there on a Sunday evening. I love the green surrounding and the quietness.
We ordered one set of Basic Works (S$9) and one set of Full Works (S$22).
Basic Works consists scrambled eggs, bacon, and home-made butter brioche, while Full Works is Basic Works with hash browns, garlic mushrooms, chicken sausage and salad. Oh, we have also visited the other two branches at National Museum of Singapore and Art Museum at 8Q, it seems that we always order Full Works!
The children's favourite? The play area, of course!
If you are taking public transport, do note that the restaurant is located quite a distance away from Botanic Gardens MRT Station. You may take a bus and alight outside Gleneagles Hospital. If you are driving, there is a basement carpark next to Tanglin Gate, the parking fee is S$0.02 per minute.

I've never been to the one at Botanic Gdns as there never seems to be space! The one near SAM is great though there is no space for the kids to play.
ReplyDeleteAgy, when we visited the one at Botanic Gardens on that Sunday evening, it was not crowded at all.
