Treats for Children from Plaza Singapura

When I was a teenager, one of my favourite hangout places with my friends was Plaza Singapura. Time flies, it is celebrating its 40th anniversary! And now it is one of my favourite shopping malls to visit with my children.

As part of its 40th birthday celebration, Plaza Singapura is launching new treats for the children - Kids Parties and Art & Craft workshops. We are thrilled to be invited to experience the Kids' Party held at Plaza Singapura Family Lounge (located next to level 4 carpark entrance).

The children were excited to get beautiful balloon sculptures from the balloon artist, who was so skilful to create whatever the children requested.

Our Junior Sushi Chefs learnt to make clay sushi.

Their sushi looked not too far off from their master's creations *ahem.

Next moment, they turned into fashion designers, creating unique tote bags.

At the end of the party, they brought home their own unique creations, as well as other exclusive gifts.

In the cosy Plaza Singapura Family Lounge, while the children are having fun, the parents can sit back and relax on the massage chair or sofa, read magazines, watch television, and enjoy a cup of coffee.

Hao Hao simply loved the massage chair!

Here are the details of the treats for children from Plaza Singapura:

Treat #1: Kids Parties

Children aged 5 to 12 stand a chance to win their special right to host their very own party by participating in the monthly contests that will be announced by Plaza Singapura in January 2015.

From March 2015, one lucky child will be chosen each month to host an exclusive party (worth up to S$2,500) for his or her friends at the Plaza Singapura Family Lounge. The children’s parties will be conducted on the last Saturday of every month. Plaza Singapura will provide the party host with delicious party food, interactive games and activities. All the child needs to do is gather 20 friends for the two-hour party.

Treat #2: Children Art & Craft Workshops

The workshops aim to encourage creativity and craftsmanship and to open young minds to innovative art processes. These workshops are held every Saturday and Sunday at 4 time slots – 1 pm, 2.15 pm, 3.30 pm, and 4.45 pm at Plaza Singapura Family Lounge. To register for the art & craft workshops, shoppers just need to have a minimum spending of S$50 at any shop.
