The Oval @ Seletar Aerospace Park Playground

When I first heard about the aeroplane themed playground located at The Oval @ Seletar Aerospace Park, I thought it would not be as crowded as Marine Cove Playground at East Coast Park. But I was wrong. 

The playground is located between The Summerhouse and Wheeler's Estate, two of the eateries in the area. 

To be honest, the playground is not very big. On one side is the playground for older children. 

Pei Pei and Hao Hao love the "control tower" slide most! Shortly after we arrived, the queue became longer and longer. 

On the other side is a play area for the younger children.

Have you ever played "aeroplane chess" before? I had played the board game version before, but it was my first time playing human size one! Where is the dice? The "dice" is located at the centre, just spin it! Pei Pei and I played one game, guess who was the winner?

We saw this cute vehicle outside Wheeler's Estate, nice for taking photo.

Other than the playground, another thing-to-do would be watching small planes taking off and landing along the boardwalk, facing the runway of Seletar Airport.

How to get there

Public transport: Bus 103, 117; alight at before / after Baker's Street

Parking: Free parking at Zone A (next to The Summerhouse) or Zone D (next to Wheeler's Estate)
