Taiwan Travel: Taipei : Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall 中正紀念堂

By the time we reached the Bronze Statue Hall of Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall 中正紀念堂 at Taipei, it was already very crowded. Everyone was waiting for the moment - to watch the changing of the honoured guards.

When we reached there at around 5 p.m., the last shift for the honoured guards would leave the hall, so there was no changing of another shift of honoured guards. So if you plan to include Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall in your itinerary, be there earlier in the day!

We managed to stand in the front row at the centre. The view from this spot was great! The children were thrilled to see that the honoured guards march right in front of them!

Not to forget to look up for the special architecture.

Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall was undergoing renovation during our visit.

What a pity that it was raining, so we could not take nice photos at the outdoor area.

Other than Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall, you can also witness the changing of honoured guards at Martyr's Shrine.
