Retro Merry-Go-Round @ Tiong Bahru Park Playground

One afternoon, after we had a gathering with friends, the children requested demanded to go to playground. I quickly searched on the map application from my phone, the nearest park was Tiong Bahru Park.

So here we went. Our first visit to Tiong Bahru Park!

The last time I played the old-school-type Merry-Go-Round was like... N years ago?

In contrast to the retro Merry-Go-Round is a modern "Tilting Train", with a maze in front of it.

Instead of building a sand castle, they decided to "bury" MaMi's foot.

We were grateful that a family shared with us their sand castle building toys, so that my foot "escaped" from being buried!

The park is very accessible by public transport. You can take MRT East-West line to Tiong Bahru station (EW17), and walk 5 minutes along Tiong Bahru Road. Or you can take bus 16, 32, 33, 63. 64, 120 or 851, and alight at the bus stop just outside the park along Tiong Bahru Road. If you are driving, you can park your car at the carpark located at the junction between Tiong Bahru Road and Lower Delta Road.
